Journey Through The Military Diet - Day Two!

Hi Guys :)

Here is my Day Two of the Military Diet. Today I woke up a bit later than usual as I didn't want to get out of bed T.T grrr.. so left me super HUNGRY! All different types of food was running through my mind all day :P

You wasn't suppose to have a weigh in until "after" the diet but I just felt a bit lighter today and turns out - 1 pound lighter already after a day!! ^___^ *cheers*

In between meals, I tend to drink just water and the occasional non-caffeinated green tea - which I have to say tastes SO WEIRD! (Tetley) xDD I prefer my normal green tea :) (Chinese loose leaves). Imagine filling a cardboard cup with hot water and left it there for the water to absorb the cardboard goodness. Yup you imagined - Cardboard hot water :/ Ughh!

Day Two: Breakfast

- 1 scrambled egg
- Slice of wholegrain bread
- 1/2 banana
- Water

Thoughts: "Gimme GIMME!!!" Mmmmm soo good! At first, I listened to my sisters advice and plopped the raw seasoned scrambled egg in the microwave to avoid using oil (hard-boiled egg was recommended but I don't like egg yolk on its own), after it was done --> it was NASTY! Super nasty T_T Smelt so sour and tasted very eggy (if that makes sense?!) and had a rubbery tough texture. Bleugh! Not good. So, alas I got another and scrambled it with a touch of olive oil and light salt and pepper seasoning to taste.
Mood: Feeling less energetic than yesterday, but still very positive :) I can see my waistline shrinking - yaaaaay!! Yes, it worked just THAT fast :P Probably, water weight? :/
Hunger: Surprisingly very satisfying and can definitely last me until Lunch, no problem! ;)

(EXERCISE GAP - 20 mins - Blogilates Call Me Maybe Squat Challenge)
I wanna get that sexy round booteh!! ;) This one KILLED me!! STILL HURTING T_T

Day Two: Lunch

- 5 Saltine Crackers
- Mild cheddar cheese slice (substitute to cottage cheese)
- Scrambled egg (made with a lil olive oil, salt+pepper)
- Water

Thoughts: Still feeling pumped from the work out I just had ;) Yeah baybeh! I didn't fair too well with cottage cheese so I substituted it for a slice of cheddar cheese instead :)
Mood: Happy, full of energy :D
Hunger: Not too hungry as I drank a load of water, but did gobble it all up though :P

Day Two: Dinner

- 2 hot dogs (cut up)
- 1 cup broccoli
- 1/2 cup carrot batons
- 1/2 banana
- Water
- 1/2 cup vanilla ice-cream (not shown)

Thoughts: I put the hot dogs in the microwave and boy, they were smelling delish!! The carrots and broccoli were just unseasoned and steamed :) I like it that way ^^ Still fresh and sweet. Initially, I wasn't going to have any ice-cream as I thought it was going to be a bit too much for me (though I should!) I got extremely hungry later on and decided to have it haha!
Mood: Feeling ok-ish, Still a bit hungry but when I go to sleep, i won't notice it hehe :P
Hunger: After the meal, I felt satisfied however later on very hungry again (the lack of carbs >.<) so i ate the ice-cream :P

Day Two - COMPLETE!
Last day tomorrow - dun dun DUNN!! BRING IT!
Byeee guys ^_^

  2. Like you, I've finished with the 3 Day Military diet and with great results - lost 6 pounds! I drank a lot of water throughout the day to stay hydrated and fell full. I also took black coffee at breakfast since it's a natural appetite suppressant and had green tea after meals. I wonder how many pounds you've lost in this diet? Anyway, for more tips and information, here's a good resource link http://3daysmilitarydiet.com/diet-plan/3-day-military-diet-substitutes.html
